There’s a Spa in My Bag: Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir Prep Set Glow Mist

Well, hey there!

Was it just me, or did you love those "What’s in My Bag?" YouTube videos from a couple of years back? I could binge-watch them for hours! It’s always fascinating to see what essentials influencers can’t seem to live without. If you were to peek into my Coach backpack on any given day, you’d find my usual suspects: a journal/ pen (Coach & Cloth & Paper), a small card carrier (Coach), a body spray (Rare Beauty), a lint roller, readers (for when I’m wearing contacts), an essentials pouch (Temu), and of course, my makeup pouch (Cloth & Paper). You might wonder, "Do you really need all of this?" The answer is a resounding YES! Life is full of surprises, and I like to be prepared for any situation.

In my essentials pouch, I always carry medicine, hand sanitizer (Touchland), hand cream (L’Occitane), a teeth picker, eyeglass cleaner, nail clippers, soap sheets, and mints (Mentos). And my makeup bag is never without a bevy of lip products (Fenty, Kiehls, Kopari), blotting sheets (Rodial), fragrance, a mirror, and this gem—Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir.

Why I love it so 💕💕💕💕💕

As you’re getting to know me, it’s clear that I’m a true ingredient nerd—and proud of it! One of my top on-the-go must-haves is Caudalie’s Beauty Elixir. I’ve tried MANY facial sprays over the years, but this one truly hits all my senses. The refreshing smell, the soothing feel—my skin loves it! It even lets me know when it's dissatisfied with other sprays. You're probably wondering how it does that. Well, I can spritz it on in the morning and again in the afternoon, and my skin feels balanced throughout the day. Unlike some sprays that serve as a quick fix and can leave me extremely dry by the end of the day, this elixir keeps my skin happy and hydrated.

This refreshing beauty elixir is a powerhouse of nourishing ingredients:

  • Grape Extracts: Known for their antioxidant properties, these help to combat free radicals and protect the skin from environmental stressors. Antioxidants neutralize harmful free radicals—unstable molecules that can cause skin damage and accelerate aging—so incorporating them into your routine can help shield your skin from the effects of pollution, UV rays, and other environmental factors.

  • Rosemary and Mint: These invigorating essential oils provide refreshing and anti-inflammatory benefits. Rosemary oil stimulates circulation and helps reduce puffiness for a more vibrant appearance, while mint oil has a cooling effect that soothes irritation and redness, making it ideal for calming the skin. Together, they not only refresh your complexion but also ease inflammation and contribute to a healthy glow.

  • Orange Blossom: Adds a soothing touch, calming the skin and enhancing its overall appearance.

  • Hydrating Essential Oils: Help lock in moisture, giving you that dewy glow and plump skin.

I know there is some disagreement in these social media streets, regarding the benefits of this product from certain beauty influencers. But as you read my content, I hope you'll see a theme- I don’t care what other influencers think. In my mature, bossed-up, soft life having self, I do what’s good for me and my skin. I have invested enough time, money and energy into it so, if it seems to be a splurge (of well). I could be “smack dab” in the middle of some mess, pull out my elixir, spritz my face, take a deep breath, and suddenly it’s just me chillin out in a beautiful spa.

Pro Tip: Buy (2), one for your bag and one for home use. Place the second one in your skincare fridge and use as needed. The cool mist lightly landing on my skin is EVERYTHING. I know, a little dramatic but it’s so good!
